A journal of things you got done
Keep what you got done.
One line about what you finished. Kipo keeps it in your pocket and reads it back to you as your week, your month and your year.
How it works
-
Write one line
"Fixed the kitchen tap." Type it or say it. A category, a project, a tag if you like. Nothing is required.
-
Kipo puts it in the pocket
Every note is saved on your iPhone, dated, and never gated by anything. Not by onboarding, not by a paywall.
-
Read it back
Your week, month and year come back as readable chapters: how many things, the words you used most, where the work went.
Reports are chapters, not charts
A report is calculated on the device from your own notes. There is no model and no word you did not write yourself. The lead is the popular words of the period, in your own form, with the number of notes behind each one.
The weekly report is ready every Monday. Month, season and year read the same way, at a longer stride. A career review takes everything under Work and shows what it was about, where it went, and the first and last thing you wrote.
What Kipo will not do
-
No account, no server
Your journal lives in a local database on your iPhone. Kipo has no login and stores nothing about you anywhere else.
-
Nothing you write leaves the phone
Notes, reports, voice input and exports are all handled on the device. Analytics is anonymous, event-only, and can be switched off.
-
No streaks, no pressure
Two reminders, both optional, both silent when you have already written something. A quiet week is a normal week.
-
Everything can be skipped
Every setup step has a Skip. The first thing the app asks for is a note, and it takes that without asking for anything else.
